چکیده
We present the design of a nanopower sub-threshold CMOS voltage reference and the measurements performed over a set of more than 70 samples fabricated in 0.18 μm CMOS technology. The circuit provides a temperature-compensated reference voltage of 259 mV with an extremely low line sensitivity of only 0.065% at the price of a less effective temperature compensation. The voltage reference properly works with a supply voltage down to 0.6 V and with a power dissipation of only 22.3 nW. Very similar performance has been obtained with and without the inclusion of the start-up circuit. Copyright © 2013 JohnWiley & Sons, Ltd. متن کاملA Sub-1-V 15-ppm/ C CMOS Band Gap Voltage Reference
A sub-1-V CMOS band gap voltage reference requiring no low threshold voltage device is introduced in this paper. In a CMOS technology with vthn=vthp=0 9 V at 0 C, the minimum supply voltage of the proposed voltage reference is 0.98 V, and the maximum supply current is 18 A. A temperature coefficient of 15 ppm/ C from 0 C to 100 C is recorded after trimming. The active area of the circuit is abo...
متن کاملTitle A sub - 1 V , 26 μ w , low - output - impedance CMOS bandgapreference with a low dropout or source follower mode
We present a low-power bandgap reference (BGR), functional from sub-1 V to 5 V supply voltage with either a low dropout (LDO) regulator or source follower (SF) output stage, denoted as the LDO or SF mode, in a 0.5m standard digital CMOS process with 0.6 V and 0.7 V at 27 C. Both modes operate at sub-1 V under zero load with a power consumption of around 26 W. At 1 V (1.1 V) supply, the LDO (SF)...

In this paper, a new low-VDD CMOS bandgap reference circuit with small layout area and low power consumption is proposed. The proposed circuit delivering its output voltage below 1V has its Proportional-To-Absolute-Temperature (PTAT) term compensated by the Complementary-proportional-To-AbsoluteTemperature (CTAT) voltage thereby suppressing a change in its output voltage regardless of temperatu...
